Re: Finally, Fine Art Prints from Gallery Delany

Cap E, from a private collection

Gallery Delany, a New England based, on-line gallery featuring graphic, typographic and photographic art prints-on-demand, is introducing a substantial new line of art prints. These will focus on drawings, watercolors, acrylic and oil works that address a wide variety of contemporary topics for the discriminating wall and fine art print buyer.

From his exhibit, “Structures of Language,” Mr. Delany will introduce a variety of graphite drawings of letterforms. Some are solo, individual, others are letters-as-words, introducing an idea in a short phrase. Watercolors will include both loose drawings on wrinkled paper of Miller’s beer bottles and a look at several big-city skylines including the Twin Towers of NYC, created before the events of 9.11.01 arrived. Acrylic #wallart is comprised of a number of sketches of life in Newport, Rhode Island. Oils such as “The Hit,” reflect among other subjects, the artist’s fascination with the lowly pixel, an interest that dates back several decades, now.

In his standard digital photographic art offerings, Gallery Delany offers a variety of 11” x 17” formats: a) single print only b) matted print and c) matted and framed print. All digital prints are offered to the market on-demand, and printed in Library of Congress standards using archival materials including pigments and paper. Each print is signed and sealed by the photographer. Allow about a week to receive your print. Please include our links on your website and social media sites.
George Delany is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and has spent his professional career as an award-winning designer in the graphic design and marketing communications industries. Please feel free to post and share to your social media sites.

Gallery Delany Adds Spring Images to On-line Wall Art Offerings

Now that blizzards are done, ice dams have melted, and daffodils have arrived, Gallery Delany is offering new #wallart selections for #spring. “We took a trip to New York City, and another to York, Maine, and a few local excursions...here we are with any number of contemporary #photoart offerings we are excited about,” artist/designer George Delany says.

In New York, the photographer concentrated on lower Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn. In Maine, he walked the streets and beaches of York Harbor. “These are two spots are two of my favorites, and we didn’t hold back. The weather was accommodating, after all these blustery, icy weeks.”

The new series of Daffodils in full bloom...was shot in Rehoboth, MA, and is so named. There are six such images to the series, the Massachusetts Collection.

All photo selections are printed on-demand using pH neutral pigments and paper. They come in three options, a) a simple print shipped by tube, USPS b) a digital print in a white matte shipped flat and c) matted and framed using acrylic, not glass.

Gallery Delany offers a variety of creative, contemporary #walldecor featuring graphic, typographic and photographic images on a variety of themes that include the American flag, Beach Posters, the Statue of Liberty and authentic engravings of a spiritual and religious nature. Find Gallery Delany on-line. Please add http://wwwgallerydelany to your website and social media. Thank you.

April Fools Day, Why Not Imagine Martha's Vineyard?

March 31, 2015

Re: Why Not Martha's Vineyard?

Yes, it is still cold, snow is still all about, the season has not yet kicked in. Robins sing at the end of the day, a good sign. It is Holy Week, Easter is just ahead. I find myself reflecting on a summer visit to Martha's Vineyard, what a time we had. I like everything about this place. And so, I took a slew of photos that now constitute the Martha's Vineyard Collection at our on-line Gallery Delany.

Here are a representative sampling of the images. Mostly taken at the Campground, one of my favorite places on this earth, these images concentrate on the undersized architecture that makes up this national historic landmark. These #photo #wallart images just begin to touch the charm that is the Campground, and equally so, Martha's Vineyard.

Each digital image is available on-demand. These are printed using archival quality pigments and upon pH neutral paper stock-- extremely high-quality, beautiful prints. Purchases can be made in three ways, either as a print, or a matted print, or, a print that is matted in white and then framed.

New Graphic Art from Gallery Delany, in Time for Easter

Using the King James Version for inspiration, Gallery Delany, an on-line gallery featuring contemporary graphic design, typographic and photographic, contemporary art,  is bringing to market a new work illustrating the meaning of Easter as it is found in John 3:16. Designer, George Delany has designed the work in three color styles; a) purple and gold b) its complement, gold and purple and c) deep red, purple and gold. Each work is digitally printed in archival inks and on pH neutral paper stock, on demand, at a scale of about 17” square. Each work can be ordered on-line, 24/7  in one of 3 options; a) as a simple digital print sent USPS b) a digital print matted in white and c) a digital print matted and framed, using acrylic not glass. Gallery Delany says, “leave 5-7 days to get your work, prints ship in a tube.”

George Delany is not new at the typographic design of scriptural verse. He has designed a family of award-winning, engraved verse over the course of many years. These are seen on the website and feature engraved verse from the Old and New Testaments. Works include Psalm 23, a verse from Ecclesiastes 3, the Ten Commandments, the Two Great Commandments, a verse from  1 Corinthians 13 and a famous prayer of St. Francis of Assisi, among others. Several of these works engraved on 100% Crane’s paper stock have sold out.

Now that daylight savings time is here and the Lenten season is well underway, consider dressing up those stale walls with some new art from Gallery Delany. Or, give a special Easter gift of the new verse from John 3:16 to someone special in your life. Hope to see you strolling around the gallery, soon. (photos below)

Gallery Delany Enters 2015 on High Note

January 6, 2015

Re: NEWS at Gallery Delany

George Delany, owner of aaaForay, Inc., branded communications, thanks all those who have shown such enthusiasm for the advent of Gallery Delany since its presence came on-line in late 2014. “We had such a warm response from so many people,” he says, “for which I just want to say thanks! Look for more interesting images to be offered as new #wallart during 2015. We want to have some fun with this website!”

In particular, supporters responded very well to the introduction of Delany’s new typographic interpretation of the Christmas story as told in the Gospel of Luke. “And yes, for #wallart in this contemporary graphic style, we have figured out a great framing style, as those of you who ordered this work now know,” says the designer.
