Memorial Day is On Our Mind

Gallery Delany, an on-line resource for contemporary graphic, typographic and photographic wall decor, is pleased to offer a variety of #spring #walldecor ideas focused on the subject of the United States. Our first collection, named, “Who We Are,” was created shortly after the events of 9.11.01. This collection has been included in the Library of Congress and won a gold award from Graphis, several years later. The collection is comprised of seven works:

Each example of patriotic wall art includes an image of the flag that was hanging in front of the designer’s home at the time of the event.

A follow-up collection, American Revival Poster Series, includes the same content but in a very different graphic style. The flag is again featured prominently as though hanging from a rafter or the skies. As is seen in the America the Beautiful #walldecor, a verse is placed reservedly below the flag rather than on it. These images make compelling wall statements, also.

As Memorial Day comes about, we want to give this topic the time and thought it deserves. You are invited to examine these 2 collections. Certain selections are in very short supply, we replace as needed.

New #wallart for Lent/Easter from Gallery Delany

New Graphic Art from Gallery Delany, in Time for Easter

Using the King James Version for inspiration, Gallery Delany, an on-line gallery featuring contemporary graphic design, typographic and photographic, contemporary art,  is bringing to market a new work illustrating the meaning of Easter as it is found in John 3:16. Designer, George Delany has designed the work in three color styles; a) purple and gold b) its complement, gold and purple and c) deep red, purple and gold. Each work is digitally printed in archival inks and on pH neutral paper stock, on demand, at a scale of about 17” square. Each work can be ordered on-line, 24/7  in one of 3 options; a) as a simple digital print sent USPS b) a digital print matted in white and c) a digital print matted and framed, using acrylic not glass. Gallery Delany says, “leave 5-7 days to get your work, prints ship in a tube.”

George Delany is not new at the typographic design of scriptural verse. He has designed a family of award-winning, engraved verse over the course of many years. These are seen on the website and feature engraved verse from the Old and New Testaments. Works include Psalm 23, a verse from Ecclesiastes 3, the Ten Commandments, the Two Great Commandments, a verse from  1 Corinthians 13 and a famous prayer of St. Francis of Assisi, among others. Several of these works engraved on 100% Crane’s paper stock have sold out.

Now that daylight savings time is here and the Lenten season is well underway, consider dressing up those stale walls with some new art from Gallery Delany. New #easterart from John 3:16 Designed for Lenten/Easter Season, Now Available

Gallery Delany has brought to market a variety of new graphic #walldecor, work including several new typographic examples of #easterart inspired by the King James Bible, John 3:16. This unique example of #christianart is digitally output, and printed-on-demand. It expresses a central idea in Christian theology.

The new #walldecor design is available in three color options, a) purple and gold letterforms b) gold and purple letterforms and c) deep red, purple and gold letterforms. The size of the print is 17" square, approximately. Gallery Delany makes available this design in 3 formats; a) a single digitally-output print b) a print matted in white and c) a print that is matted and framed (we use acrylic, not glass). Each print is output on-demand in archival pigments and on archival paper stock. Each print is signed by the designer and sealed for authenticity. Prints ship USPS in tubes. 

As of March 23, Gallery Delany is introducing a large print format measuring 27" square, as seen in this image. This oversized square-format print is offered as a) a print only and b) framed using acrylic, not glass. It is not offered with a white matte. 

These new #wallart samples from Gallery Delany include also images of the season, images of snow and recent blizzards that have swamped southern New England in record breaking amounts of snow.
