Each verse offers a different color scheme; the first verse, mostly a blue palette with flashes of orange and yellow, the second verse, mostly greens, colors of the earth, and the third verse a colorful palette celebrating the joy of it all. Each typographic work comes with a matte and frame options, and is offered in two sizes, either 17” square (before matte, frame) or 8.5” x 11.”

Gallery Delany, a New England based, on-line gallery featuring graphic, typographic and photographic art prints-on-demand, is introducing a substantial new line of art prints. These will focus on drawings, watercolors, acrylic and oil works that address a wide variety of contemporary topics for the discriminating wall and fine art print buyer. 




From his exhibit, “Structures of Language,” Mr. Delany will introduce a variety of graphite drawings of letterforms. Some are solo, individual, others are letters-as-words, introducing an idea in a short phrase. Watercolors will include both loose drawings on wrinkled paper of Miller’s beer bottles and a look at several big-city skylines including the Twin Towers of NYC, created before the events of 9.11.01 arrived. Acrylic #wallart is comprised of a number of sketches of life in Newport, Rhode Island. Oils such as “The Hit,” reflect among other subjects, the artist’s fascination with the lowly pixel, an interest that dates back several decades, now. 


In his standard digital photographic art offerings, Gallery Delany offers a variety of 11” x 17” formats: a) single print only b) matted print and c) matted and framed print. All digital prints are offered to the market on-demand, and printed in Library of Congress standards using archival materials including pigments and paper. Among the variety of new works are those expressing New York City, York Harbor and Jackman Maine, and Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Mr. Delany’s photographic style is to capture in the most straightforward manner using available light, the intrinsic beauty in the places he visits.

Martha’s Vineyard is a very special place,” the photographer offers. “I spent time there as a teen-ager, and the island is every bit as enchanting right now as it was, then. I just can’t get enough of the place…”

Memorial Day is On Our Mind

Gallery Delany, an on-line resource for contemporary graphic, typographic and photographic wall decor, is pleased to offer a variety of #spring #walldecor ideas focused on the subject of the United States. Our first collection, named, “Who We Are,” was created shortly after the events of 9.11.01. This collection has been included in the Library of Congress and won a gold award from Graphis, several years later. The collection is comprised of seven works:



Each example of patriotic wall art includes an image of the flag that was hanging in front of the designer’s home at the time of the event.
A follow-up collection, American Revival Poster Series, includes the same content but in a very different graphic style. The flag is again featured prominently as though hanging from a rafter or the skies. As is seen in the America the Beautiful #walldecor, a verse is placed reservedly below the flag rather than on it. These images make compelling wall statements, also.

As Memorial Day comes about, we want to give this topic the time and thought it deserves. You are invited to examine these 2 collections. Certain selections are in very short supply, we replace as needed.
